Alice Muratore is a photographer and visual artist born in Milan in 2002. In her artistic practice she uses a transmedial approach that intertwines photography, performance art, installation and video art. Her research is based on a poetic and existential reflection that crosses the themes of dualism between life and death, between presence and absence, of the transcendent, of identity, of memory and its oblivion, of loss and interconnection between human experience and every other form of life and non-life. Through the use of experimental practices and transversal processes in contamination with philosophical, anthropological, ecological and spiritual references, her work moves along liminal trajectories in which the visible mixes with the invisible, highlighting new possibilities of perceiving and inhabiting reality.
