The artist crosses the beach carrying with her a fabric on which a negative self-portrait is printed. Leaving the fabric in the environment allows nature to leave its mark on it. The wind, the sand, the sea water are elements that contribute to gradually transforming the self-portrait, creating a changing dialogue between the work of art and the surrounding landscape. During the journey we are confronted with the fragility of existence and the beauty of change by observing the traces left behind every step. The photographic negative is a moment of transition, linked to a process of development and transformation, and so the performance becomes a poetic exploration of our existence, an attempt to capture the fleeting essence of human life and to find meaning in the impermanence of things.
